After months away from school due to the Coronavirus, Resurrection Catholic Preschool & Kindergarten welcomed its teachers, students, and families back to the building for full-time in-person learning on Tuesday, September 8th. We spent a great deal of time in thoughtful and collaborative planning. Our health and safety plan includes dedicated staff, children grouped in cohorts to limit spread of the virus, increased cleaning and sanitation, daily health checks and widespread mask usage.

We consider it a great responsibility to be trusted to reopen our school, and to cultivate your child’s social-emotional growth and academic curiosity. Each facet of reopening was designed with courage and compassion for the health and safety of all our community members. While the risk of COVID-19 exposure and transmission cannot be completely eliminated, we have designed a plan that allows for a quick and informed response to mitigating the virus, with guidance and collaboration from:

● Oregon Office of Childcare

● American Association of Pediatrics

● Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

● Oregon Health Authority
