Tresa joined the staff as Head Teacher and Co-Director for the preschool program in August of 2013 with the goal of creating a preschool where all children are honored and respected for their potential, capabilities and humanity. She feels blessed to be part of a strong, warm and caring community here at Resurrection. Her background includes an undergraduate degree in Education from Santa Clara University and a Masters in Teaching from Lewis & Clark College. She has taught preschool through third grade for the past twenty years in both public and private schools. She currently lives in southeast Portland with her husband and three sons. Outside of school, she enjoys cooking, reading and clothing design.

Anna is originally from the east coast, born and raised in Connecticut. She attended Loyola University in Baltimore, MD for her BA degree in Communications and Marketing. She married her husband, Brandon, and moved to Oregon! They have two amazing kids Olivia (7) and Luke (4) and a dog, Otis. Anna also has a floral business, Anna Mara Flowers, where she creates floral designs for weddings and events. She absolutely loves working with kids, flowers and finding joy in all the blessings God has provided.
Teacher & Administrative Assistant
Alex was born and raised in West Linn. She earned a BS in Business Management at Portland State, and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching at George Fox. She did her student teaching practicum at Sunset Primary School in a 3rd grade classroom and a kindergarten classroom. Alex loves children and is passionate about creating a classroom environment that allows each child to learn and grow from where they’re at. She loves making things with her hands and has a jewelry side business called Huckle and Lou. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, taking her dog Lewis to the beach, and spending time with her friends and family.
Sunflower Class Teacher Assistant
Mary was born in the Bay Area and then moved to Phoenix where she attended Catholic school. She moved to Lake Oswego with her family when she was in the 7th grade.
She attended PSU and earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and then George Fox for her Master of Arts in Teaching. She has two kids, Josh and Jane, who are both in college. Mary has worked with young children since she was in college. After getting her teaching license she has worked at PCC Sylvania, OES, PPS, Sunny Hills Preschool and is now thrilled to be at Resurrection Catholic Preschool! She loves working with children and building relationships with families. Her interests include reading, art, tennis, exercise, music, travel and spending time with friends and family!

Krissy Fillis was born and raised in Portland. She currently lives in Tualatin with her husband, Dave of 23 years and her 2 kids Brandon (19) and her daughter, Abby (15). Krissy has been working with preschoolers for over 20 years. She has a background in literacy intervention, training in Reggio Emilia, extensive training in Love and Logic, and experience with special needs children. She and her husband were Children's directors and Krissy also directed a girl's program at her church for elementary aged girls. She has worked at Clackamas Christian Center, Circle of Friends Preschool, Sunny Hills Preschool and enjoys being a part of Resurrection Preschool. In her spare time she loves to vacation with her family, play tennis, make cards, watch her daughter dance, house projects, and volunteer at church.

Amanda was born and raised in a small town in Oregon and currently lives in West Linn with her husband, David, son Andrew, daughter Elizabeth and Labradoodle Sawyer. She has been teaching preschool for over 10 years. She loves working with children and watching them grow as they learn. In her free time, Amanda loves hiking and camping throughout Oregon with her family and friends. She also loves doing craft projects with her daughter.

Patricia grew up in California and Perth, Western Australia. She worked as a corporate securities paralegal in Silicon Valley for 15 years before having her two sons and being a full-time parent. During this time, she worked part time at a preschool, as a nanny and as a personal support advocate to adults with disabilities. Her passions include international travel, gardening and spending time with her family! She is very excited for the opportunity to work with the children at RCPK.

I was born and raised in a little town north of San Francisco called San Anselmo whose most notable resident is George Lucas. Needless to say I'm a huge Star Wars fan! I graduated from Gonzaga University with a BA in English and attended Santa Clara University where I earned my teaching credential. I have seven years of teaching experience in grades K-2. I have also worked as an aide at Bethlehem Christian Preschool and as a tutor for the reading intervention program Reading Results. My husband, Bernie, and I live in Lake Oswego with our three children Bridget (13), Bernie (10) and William (7). When we are not cheering on our Zags, we love spending time together outdoors!

Jennifer (Jen) is native to West Linn and pleased to continue to call it home. She is married and has two kids, Madelyn and Henry, and a rescue dog named Lila. Her free time is spent volunteering at Willamette Primary School and she enjoys cooking, traveling, photography, architecture, being with friends and family, and the outdoors. Her family also enjoys auto racing. Her husband is a rally driver and both children participate in quarter midgetracing. She is honored to be working with children at Resurrection Catholic Preschool and considers it an exciting chapter to her life!
