Collaborative Art

The first week of the 2017-2018 school year is finally here!! The children are so excited to explore their new classrooms and meet their new friends and teachers. There is so much to do play with and do, especially for our curious little Seedlings Class (2.5 year olds). We decided to star the year with an art project that would be just as much fun as the train table or the play kitchen.

We pulled together plastic tools, scrapers, tooth brushes, apple halves, corks and more and let the children dip them into paint. They then stamped, drove, brushed or rolled the objects across big sheets of yellow paper. They loved seeing the different patterns each object made and how the colors mixed together.

The end result will be displayed on our bulletin board soon!!
