The Seedlings Class LOVES color! They have been exploring color through a variety of ways. First they made their collaborative art using gadgets, their hands, brushes and more on large, yellow paper. Then we painted beautiful rainbows on their hands and they made handprint art. We read them books about color, like "Pete The Cat, I love my White Shoes," and "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?" We sang "The Rainbow Song," and they danced with rainbow streamers. We also worked on color sorting with math manipulatives as a group and then they individually sorted colored collage materials to glue onto cardboard sqaures they had painted.
Their artwork turned out beautifully and it's now displayed on the bulletin boards in the hallway!
